afterimages when blincking?

When i first started to notice my hppd it was the afterimages that i noticed the most, i would look at something light colored and then look away and still see it for awhile and if i blinked it would go away, but now i can look at light colored things and look away and not see an afterimage unless i blink and for awhile i will see it every time i blink, i am wondering if anyone else has this and if anyone knows why it changed like that, does this mean its getting better? also does anyone every see positive afterimages but only in your peripheral vision like without looking away from what they are looking at? that's something that has also changed about the afterimages that i thought was weird

i experience this aswell. but it all depends on the severity of your hppd and the brightness of the light
